My name is Xiangwei Guo, and I am a Ph.D. graduate in Earth and Environmental Sciences from the University of Texas at Arlington, with my degree to be conferred in May 2026.

My doctoral research investigates late Paleogene eolian-fluvial systems in the western U.S. by integrating field sedimentology with machine learning-enhanced granulometry, astrochronology, and geochronology.

I seek to integrate geologic observations with data science to better understand Earth surface processes and paleoclimate.
