My name is Xiangwei Guo, a Ph.D. candidate in Earth and Environmental Sciences at UT Arlington (expected May 2026).

My doctoral research investigates late Paleogene eolian-fluvial systems in the western U.S. by integrating field sedimentology with machine learning-enhanced granulometry, astrochronology, and geochronology.

I aim to integrate geologic observations with quantitative, data-driven approaches to understand Earth surface processes and paleoclimate.
